Product support for current Outpost users ends December 15, 2021

Outpost allows you to receive desktop notifications for new messages, @ mentions, and assignment notifications.
To successfully receive new mail notifications on your computer, there are two browser settings required:
- ensure that sites can ask to send notifications in the browser
- make sure your browser allows notifications
Outpost will prompt your web browser to allow notifications the first time that it receives a new message, @ mention, or notification. By selecting "Allow" Outpost will send a notification to your desktop whenever one of these events occurs in Outpost. The notification prompt will look different depending on which browser you are using. Some examples of browser notification prompts are pictured below.
Once notifications are allowed in the browser they will continue to display until they are turned off in the browser settings.
Note: Outpost will only display notifications if the web browser is running and Outpost is not the current active tab or window.
